HYBE<\/strong> has revealed the name of its next girl group: TUIDE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The group will debut in the second half of 2026<\/strong> under ABD<\/strong>, a HYBE<\/strong> label dedicated to girl-group production.<\/p>\n TUIDE<\/strong>\u2018s name was unveiled on Monday (July 20)<\/strong>, alongside the launch of official accounts on Instagram<\/strong><\/a>, YouTube<\/a><\/strong>, TikTok<\/strong><\/a>, X<\/strong> and other platforms, Soompi<\/em> reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n The group will be produced by Han Sung Soo<\/strong>, the founder of PLEDIS Entertainment<\/strong>, who has produced groups including SEVENTEEN<\/strong>, After School<\/strong>, IZ*ONE<\/strong> and TWS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Han<\/strong> will oversee the group\u2019s music, concept, and performance, according to HYBE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n ABD<\/strong> is led by Jiwon No<\/strong>, who previously served as Head of Artist Planning at PLEDIS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n ABD<\/strong>, short for \u201cA Bold Dream,\u201d was unveiled on May 8<\/a> with a statement setting out its remit.<\/p>\n \u201cGuided by a deep understanding of both artists and fans, the new label aims to pursue the intrinsic joy of music while exploring new possibilities and expanding the horizons of K-pop,\u201d HYBE<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n The company said the launch of ABD<\/strong> \u201cmarks a strategic step in strengthening HYBE<\/strong>\u2018s multi-label ecosystem as K-pop continues to evolve globally.\u201d<\/p>\n ABD<\/strong> said its philosophy centers on \u201cunconventional, flexible, and playful ideas that push beyond norm.\u201d<\/p>\n The rollout marks a departure from several of HYBE<\/strong>\u2018s other recent girl-group projects.<\/p>\n KATSEYE<\/strong>, the company\u2019s US-based group, was assembled through the 2023 competition series The Debut: Dream Academy<\/em>, while ILLIT<\/strong> was formed through the JTBC<\/strong> survival show R U Next?<\/em><\/p>\n TUIDE<\/strong>, by contrast, has been built within ABD<\/strong> under Han Sung Soo<\/strong>, with the label introducing its members through a series of brand films rather than a public contest.<\/p>\n The ABD<\/strong> launch came as HYBE<\/strong> widened its search for girl-group talent beyond South Korea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Earlier in 2026, the company opened nationwide auditions in India<\/strong> through HYBE India<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The auditions target aspiring performers across 10<\/strong> Indian cities, with applications open until July 31<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Its joint venture with Universal Music Group<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s Geffen Records<\/strong>, which produced KATSEYE<\/strong>, also launched a second global girl-group project in Japan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n HYBE<\/strong> Chairman Bang Si-hyuk<\/a><\/strong> has described the overseas push as part of a \u201cmulti-home, multi-genre\u201d strategy.<\/p>\n ABD<\/strong> joins a roster of HYBE<\/strong> labels that each operate with a degree of autonomy under the company\u2019s multi-label structure.<\/p>\n Those labels include BIGHIT MUSIC<\/strong> (BTS<\/strong>, TOMORROW X TOGETHER<\/strong>), BELIFT LAB<\/strong> (ENHYPEN<\/strong>, ILLIT<\/strong>), SOURCE Music<\/strong> (LE SSERAFIM<\/strong>), PLEDIS Entertainment<\/strong> (SEVENTEEN<\/strong>, TWS<\/strong>), KOZ Entertainment<\/strong> (ZICO<\/strong>, BOYNEXTDOOR<\/strong>) and ADOR<\/strong> (NewJeans<\/strong>).<\/p>\n Overseas, the company operates HYBE America<\/strong>, home to the Geffen<\/strong> joint venture; HYBE Japan<\/strong>, which houses &TEAM<\/strong>; and HYBE Latin America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n HYBE America<\/strong>\u00a0has integrated its US<\/strong> and Latin America<\/strong> operations under Isaac Lee<\/strong>, Chairman and CEO of HYBE America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n HYBE<\/strong>\u2018s move into another girl group follows a run of commercial results from its female acts.<\/p>\n LE SSERAFIM<\/strong>, which debuted in 2022 under SOURCE<\/strong>\u00a0Music<\/strong>, saw its 2025 EP HOT<\/em> debut at No. 1<\/a> on Billboard<\/a><\/em>\u2018s Top Album Sales chart.<\/p>\n ILLIT<\/strong>, launched under BELIFT LAB<\/strong> in 2024, reached the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100<\/a> with its debut single Magnetic<\/em>.<\/p>\n NewJeans<\/strong>, formed in 2022 under ADOR<\/strong>, topped the Billboard<\/em> 200 with its EP Get Up<\/em> and has placed five<\/strong> songs on the Hot 100<\/strong>.<\/p>\n All five NewJeans<\/strong> members returned to ADOR<\/strong><\/a> in November 2025 after a Seoul<\/strong> court upheld the validity of their contracts.<\/p>\n Overseas, KATSEYE<\/strong> surpassed 32 million<\/strong> monthly listeners on Spotify<\/a><\/strong> during the first quarter of 2026, a figure HYBE<\/strong> said was the highest among girl groups worldwide.<\/p>\n The group\u2019s first two EPs, SIS (Soft Is Strong)<\/em> and BEAUTIFUL CHAOS<\/em>, sold a combined 1 million<\/strong> copies, according to HYBE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
