Jeana Keough<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u2019s kids are remaining hopeful and positive as The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/i><\/span><\/a> star continues treatment for tongue cancer<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s strong through this. She\u2019s got a good support network down there,\u201d Shane Keough<\/strong> exclusively told Us<\/i> when marking 20 years of RHOC<\/i>. \u201cColton<\/strong>, our younger brother, is there [in Orange County, California], so she\u2019s on the right path. But you know, it\u2019s tough for everybody, and we\u2019re just trying to make sure she stays on her program so she\u2019s strong when this is done.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kara Keough<\/strong> \u2014 who is based in Florida with Shane, 39 \u2014 acknowledged that there are still a lot of unknowns in their mom\u2019s cancer journey, she\u2019s determined to see only good things ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t know. We won\u2019t know anything,\u201d Kara, 37, said about her mom\u2019s prognosis. \u201cI think she\u2019ll get cancer to bend to her will, like she does with everything else in life. We\u2019re choosing to stay in that mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Shane and Kara revealed their mom\u2019s cancer diagnosis in a joint Instagram post. A GoFundMe page<\/span><\/a> has also been set up, which aims to raise funds that will go directly toward expenses, everyday living costs, nutrition and additional support for Jeana.<\/p>\n

In less than 24 hours, Vicki Gunvalson<\/strong>, Tamra Judge<\/strong>, Carmella Garcia<\/strong><\/a>, Andy Cohen<\/strong>, Bode Miller<\/strong> and more stars have offered financial support<\/span><\/a> to the Keough family.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe cried when I showed her how many of you have donated, sent prayers and offered advice and help. We\u2019re reading all your encouraging words and my sweet mama is blown away by the kindness and generosity of so many of you,\u201d Kara wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, July 19. \u201cAs her kid \u2014 knowing the scale and depth of her current struggles\u00a0 \u2014 I will sleep so much better tonight because of all of you. \u2026 Truly. You\u2019ve helped her in more ways than I can tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Jeana\u2019s GoFundMe page, Kara confirmed that her mom has squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue or tongue cancer.<\/p>\n

The real estate agent is now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy.<\/p>\n
