Amman, July 20 (Petra) — Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi
\non Monday evening patronized a celebration organized by the Pioneer
\nCenter for Studies and Human Rights Training in Amman to mark the
\nkingdom’s Independence Day under the theme “Independence and
\nInvestment,” alongside the 10th anniversary of the center’s founding.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by official and public figures, alongside
\neconomic, media, and academic representatives from Jordan and the
\nwider Arab region, as well as delegates from public and private
\nsector institutions.<\/p>\n
In a speech delivered on behalf of the honorees, media personality
\nHani Al-Badri highlighted the importance of cementing national
\ndialogue and developing a discourse that reflects the efforts and
\nvision of His Majesty King Abdullah II in service of Jordan, adding
\nthat mutual respect and affection represent the core values uniting
\nthe Jordanian people.<\/p>\n
The celebration featured a panel discussion moderated by media
\npresenter Cathy Farraj, during which the center’s director, Rania
\nHaddadin, reviewed the institution’s 10-year journey and its future
\nvision in the fields of human rights, capacity building, and
\nentrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
Haddadin stated that the center has trained more than 2,500 young
\npeople in leadership and investment, conducted specialized training
\nprograms for parliamentarians, and organized 12 investment
\nconferences alongside roughly 70 local and regional conferences,
\nguided by royal visions on youth empowerment and development.<\/p>\n
She added that the center has placed special emphasis on spreading a
\nculture of human rights, empowering persons with disabilities,
\nsupporting orphans, reinforcing concepts of citizenship, rights, and
\nduties, and implementing programs that protect and develop the
\ncapabilities of youth.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of the event, the center honored prominent
\nJordanian and Arab economic, political, cultural, and media figures
\nin recognition of their societal contributions, with the Royal Court
\nchief presenting them with honorary plaques.<\/p>\n
