Robbie Williams<\/strong> is speaking out after a mysterious white substance was seen falling out of his mouth and onto his mic during an interview ahead of his 2026 FIFA World Cup Final<\/a> performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust like to apologize for the object that fell onto the microphone yesterday. It was deeply unprofessional and people worried about me,\u201d Williams, 52, said in a Monday, July 20, Instagram<\/a> video. \u201cBut it\u2019s OK \u2018cause I have several more.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the clip, Williams then laughed as he stuck out his tongue to reveal two more mints.<\/p>\n

Williams\u2019 video comes one day after he made waves online when eagle-eyed fans noticed a mint popping out of his mouth while he spoke to a German TV station at the Sunday, July 19, championship game in East Rutherford, New Jersey.<\/p>\n

In the viral clip, Williams picked up the small lozenge from the microphone without skipping a beat. He then held the mint in his hand before rubbing his forehead, with the bit getting stuck on his face.<\/p>\n

Williams was on hand on Sunday to perform the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem \u201cDesire\u201d alongside Nicole Scherzinger<\/strong> and Laura Pausini<\/strong> as part of the World Cup closing ceremony<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The musician, for his part, has been candid about his struggles with substance abuse in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was a fully-fledged, fully-blown, self-medicating addict,\u201d Williams told The Irish Times<\/em><\/a> in 2022, recalling his life in the \u201890s. \u201cSo unfortunately, it wasn\u2019t a lot of fun \u2014 which is why I\u2019m a sober person right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
