Brad Paisley opened up about getting an invite to the most exclusive event of the year: Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce\u2019s New York City wedding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The singer and NFL star tied the knot at Madison Square Garden over the July 4th weekend, and Paisley and his wife, actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley, were there to see it all. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBecause in the invite, it said, \u2018If you\u2019re getting this, you mean a lot to us,\u2019\u201d he said of the sweet detail. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The country singer also shared that the wedding itself was so top secret, guests weren\u2019t even aware of the exact location. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was really fun to watch the cat-and-mouse game of like, \u2018We can tell you roughly where it\u2019s gonna be. We\u2019re not gonna say what building. … And here\u2019s the date, and if you\u2019re in, we\u2019ll tell you more,\u2019\u201d Paisley said. \u201cAnd I was like, I went to my wife, I said, \u2018Want to go?\u2019 She\u2019s like, \u2018Absolutely. We\u2019ve gotta be there.\u2019 So we did it. It was RSVP yes.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Paisley added that the star-studded bash was \u201cIronically, one of the least pretentious weddings I\u2019ve ever seen, or ever will see.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Paisley and Swift go way back, as the \u201cLove Story\u201d singer first opened for Paisley during his 2007 tour. He has also spoken highly of her over the years, calling Swift \u201cthe voice of her generation\u201d<\/a> in 2010. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
