July 3 is a great day to get married! Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, who wed on that day five years ago, certainly seem to think so, as Stefani posted a reel of their special anniversary date<\/a> to Instagram on Monday that led fans to wonder if Stefani and Shelton were actually celebrating at another <\/em>couple\u2019s July 3rd wedding. <\/p>\n

Stefani merely termed the anniversary footage a \u201cdate night\u201d with her \u201cforever,\u201d but fans quickly zoomed in on the fact that the two were in New York City \u2014 where two other very famous people were hosting a blowout A-list wedding, namely Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n

Fans immediately zoomed in on the fact that Shelton and Stefani share a wedding date with newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and wondered if the pair were celebrating at the latter\u2019s wedding in NYC. Gwen Stefani\/Instagram<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n

Stefani, 56, and Shelton, 50, were dressed for the occasion, with Stefani donning a close-fitting formal Yara Shoemaker pink dress and Shelton in a classic tux. Glimpses outside the window showed what appeared to be a NYC skyline, and a garment bag in the closet sported a tag that said \u201cBlake NYC.\u201d <\/p>\n

While the \u201cHollaback Girl\u201d singer teased that \u201cBlake will not let me take any pictures of him,\u201d\u00a0she got plenty of shots of him both during their getting-glam period and later, apparently getting a ride back after the evening.Fans were quick to note that the couple were in NYC on a momentous day. \u201cLooks like y\u2019all went to a certain wedding ,\u201d said one, while another noted, \u201cDid we go to a wedding for the wedding anniversary??? \u201d<\/p>\n

The former chose to tie the knot on Shelton\u2019s\u00a0Oklahoma ranch<\/a>,\u00a0while Swift and Kelce opted for a\u00a0star-studded, blow-out wedding extravaganza<\/a>\u00a0at Madison Square Garden.On the actual day of their anniversary, Stefani chose to share a carousel of wedding photos<\/a> from their own special day, captioning it \u201c5 years married to my forever.\u201d <\/p>\n
