Whoopi Goldberg and Anne Hathaway had a touching moment on The View<\/em> while talking about The Odyssey <\/em>on Monday, July 20<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful watching you grow up,\u201d the EGOT winner told the actress<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Hathaway previously teared up on a recent episode of Today<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> and Anne Hathaway<\/a> had a touching moment on air.\u00a0<\/p>\n Goldberg, 70, made Hathaway, 43, tear up on the Monday, July 20 episode<\/a> of The View<\/em><\/a> while talking about The Odyssey<\/em>. The actress stars as wife Penelope in the movie adaptation of Homer\u2019s classic tale. Her costar Matt Damon<\/a>, who plays Penelope\u2019s husband Odysseus, and director Christopher Nolan<\/a> were also in attendance.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAnne Hathaway, it\u2019s been wonderful watching you,\u201d the host said. \u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful watching you grow up. And you have just blossomed, turned into this fabulous actress.
