You can hear all her discoveries live on 88Nine at 10 p.m. every Monday on <\/i>What\u2019s All This: Adventures in New Music<\/u><\/b><\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Serving up a hot slab of scuzz, New Orleans garage rockers Twisted Teens just dropped their newest and third full-length album, Florida Water Blues<\/u><\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n They\u2019re one of the buzziest indie bands out there right now, with a sound that\u2019s been categorized as \u201cdirty-fingernailed.\u201d I would agree that seems appropriate, although the waltz tempo of \u201cWeather the Season\u201d feels like a breather compared with the more compact sounds from the rest of the album, led by the delightful growl-y howl of Caspian Hollywell.<\/p>\n The band\u2019s punk qualities are soaked through and through with swamp water, making for a great, boozy-ish summer listen.
