{"id":2511601,"date":"2026-07-21T22:07:14","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2511601"},"modified":"2026-07-21T22:07:14","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:07:14","slug":"seven-orders-second-season-of-glenn-micks-celebrity-intervention","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/seven-orders-second-season-of-glenn-micks-celebrity-intervention\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven orders second season of &#8216;Glenn &#038; Mick\u2019s Celebrity Intervention&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Seven Network has confirmed Molloy Boy Productions\u2019 Glenn &amp; Mick\u2019s Celebrity Intervention will return for a second season on Seven and 7plus in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Fronted by Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy, the series features the pair revisit the highs and lows of celebrity careers along with the subject\u2019s friends, family and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>Carrie Bickmore, Sam Pang, Dr Chris Brown, Guy Sebastian, Dave Hughes, Mick Fanning and Jim Jefferies have so far been in the hot seat, with a standalone Andy Lee episode still to come later this year. <\/p>\n<p>The series debuted to strong ratings in April, drawing an average total audience of 1.51 million across the season.<\/p>\n<p>Southern Cross Media Group managing director, television and streaming, Angus Ross, said the format had stood out from the moment it was pitched.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Glenn and Mick first pitched Celebrity Intervention, we knew it was unlike anything else on television,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAudiences clearly agreed. The show\u2019s combination of comedy, chaos and affection made it an instant favourite, and we\u2019re delighted to bring it back for a second season. For the celebrities of Australia, consider this your official warning: interventions will resume in 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robbins said he was pleased with the renewal, if not all the details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very happy about a second season but not about sharing a dressing room with Mick again,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe can get a bit handsy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Molloy said the new season was bad news for Australia\u2019s celebrities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is bad news for celebrities who\u2019ve had it too good for too long,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrepare for a pantsing on national TV! No-one has more experience with interventions than me. Sure, normally I\u2019m on the other side of one, but this show has made me more qualified than some of those so-called experts with their fancy university degrees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd thank you to Seven for the second season. They don\u2019t hand those out lightly. Take it from someone who knows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Glenn &amp; Mick\u2019s Celebrity Intervention is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network.
