Chelsea Wolfe<\/strong>\u2018s ninth studio album \u201cThe Dark<\/strong>\u201d has been slated for an August 21st release through Loma Vista<\/strong>. The details for that new record from the folk doom artist were shared today, July 21st. The announcement follows her recent pair of singles<\/a>, which included this album\u2019s title track and the song \u201cDeath Is Not The End<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n Magdalena Wosinska<\/strong> directed the below music video for the just shared third single from this new opus, \u201cCold<\/strong>\u201c, you can give that a watch below. Guest performers involved with this album include Robin Finck<\/strong> of Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers Nine Inch Nails<\/strong>, along with Matt Chamberlain<\/strong> (A Perfect Circle<\/strong>, Ghost<\/strong>), and members of K\u00e6lan Mikla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Wolfe<\/strong> elaborated on her vision for this full-length, stating:<\/p>\n \u201cThe ghosts are haunted by the living just as much as the living are haunted by the ghosts. On this album, I\u2019m not pointing the finger at anyone. I\u2019m taking responsibility. Someone who may have been a toxic presence in my life.. maybe I was bad for them, too.
