Moviegoers hitting the theaters over the weekend to see “The Odyssey” were caught off guard when they were treated to the unexpected jumpscares in the “Other Mommy” trailer.<\/p>\n
The trailer for the horror film<\/a> \u2014 which stars Jessica Chastain as a mother named Ursula and her sinister demon doppelganger \u2014 pre-empted the Matt Damon-led film (both movies come from Universal Studios), which was released July 17, in theaters across the country.<\/p>\n The official trailer was released online Tuesday.<\/p>\n Moviegoers expecting to see “The Odyssey” (seen above) were given quite the fright when the movie was pre-empted by a trailer for a film called, “Other Mommy.” Universal Pictures via AP<\/p>\n <\/span><\/div>\n The movie stars Jessica Chastain (seen above in a trailer for “Other Mommy”) as a mother named Ursula and her sinister demon doppelganger.
