Elliott is the child of actor Chris Elliott<\/strong> and talent coordinator Paula Niedert<\/strong>. She spent her childhood in Wilton, Connecticut, where she graduated from Immaculate High School in 2005. She went on to attend Marymount Manhattan College but left during her first semester to pursue comedy full time.<\/p>\n Elliott trained with The Groundlings and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre before joining Saturday Night Live in 2008. At age 21, she became the youngest female cast member in the show\u2019s history and the first second-generation SNL cast member, following in her father\u2019s footsteps. During her tenure, she became known for her celebrity impressions, establishing herself as next generation talent in the comedy circuit.<\/p>\n After leaving Saturday Night Live in 2012, Elliott landed roles on shows including How I Met Your Mother, Odd Mom Out and Indebted. She also lent her voice to Disney\u2019s Star vs. the Forces of Evil and appeared on the big screen in projects like No Strings Attached (2011), High Road (2011) and Cheaper by the Dozen (2022). She earned renewed acclaim after joining the cast of The Bear as Sugar Berzatto. As a part of the ensemble cast, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2024. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance on the show that same year.<\/p>\n
