According to a new report by, Prince William<\/strong> and Kate Middleton<\/strong> have no issue with one of the prestigious school\u2019s strictest rules, as it closely matches their own parenting approach.<\/p>\n Prince George celebrates his 13th birthday on July 22 before heading off to Eton College, the same prestigious boarding school his father attended. As the future King prepares for secondary school, one long-standing rule at Eton appears to have the full support of Prince William and Princess Kate.<\/p>\n According to the outlet, first-year students at Eton are not allowed to carry smartphones. Instead, they can only use a basic \u201cbrick phone\u201d to stay in touch with their families. While the rule may seem unusual in an era dominated by smartphones, it reportedly fits perfectly with the Prince and Princess of Wales\u2019 approach to raising their children.<\/p>\n Prince William previously revealed that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis do not own mobile phones. During an appearance on Eugene Levy\u2019s travel series \u201cThe Reluctant Traveler\u201d, the Prince of Wales explained that he and Kate are \u201cvery strict\u201d about limiting technology at home.<\/p>\n The couple\u2019s stance has remained consistent over the years.
