2hollis<\/a> is back with \u201cHurt,\u201d his first new song since releasing last year\u2019s\u00a0Star<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cHurt\u201d doesn\u2019t serve as a significant stylistic switch-up for 2hollis, retaining many of the themes now common in his discography: scattered synth lines, bass that oozes out of the speakers, deconstructed verses giving way to hard-hitting choruses, a combination of both rapping and singing. \u201cHurt\u201d oscillates between refined and abrasive, two qualities that 2hollis embraces in equal measure. The song also arrives with a music video directed by Hollis himself; it features him grooving (and mugging at the camera, of course) amidst a handful of writhing backup dancers.
