Listen below.<\/p>\n The collaborative song will appear on the deluxe edition of the former NME Cover<\/em> stars<\/a>\u2018 2025 second studio album, \u2018God Save The Gun\u2019<\/a>, which is released on August 7 via Loma Vista. Pre-order\/pre-save here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The extended version of the Los Angeles outfit\u2019s latest LP contains three new songs, including the cut \u2018World\u2019s Always Burning\u2019 with Mannequin Pussy out today. They were initially recorded to appear on \u2018God Save The Gun\u2019.<\/p>\n However, upon reflection, the band decided the material felt different to the more internal and first-person perspective themes explored on the record.<\/p>\n \u201cEverything in \u2018God Save The Gun\u2019 became so focused on the internal, that when it came to fitting these songs in, it felt like they had stepped outside of that perspective,\u201d explained frontman Ian Shelton.<\/p>\n \u201cIn my head these songs started to form into the feeling of finally coming to after being so caught up in your own head, and then realising the rest of the world is still out there and you haven\u2019t been actively participating.\u201d<\/p>\n Mannequin Pussy\u2019s Marisa \u2018Missy\u2019 Dabice provides guest vocals on the shimmering\u2019World\u2019s Always Turning\u2019, creating a blend of silky and gritty tones as Militarie Gun bring some jangly guitar influences.
