Based in Brooklyn and recognized as a 2026 Roulette Awarded Artist and Next Jazz Legacy Awardee, Rogers delivers an organic, nature-inspired approach to rhythm and harmony rooted in her rural Maine upbringing. The performance showcases her distinctive improvisational style, drawing from her debut album, \u201cSeeds,\u201d as well as her recent solo piano release, \u201cThe Button Jar.\u201d Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for youth ages 13 to 17 and are free for children aged 12 and under. A reception with the artists will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. The show reflects the artists\u2019 passion for horses in all their settings, and shows that they are as comfortable painting ropers out west as well as dressage horses. The Co-op is located at 26 Bridge St. in Shelburne Falls, and is open every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pioneer Valley Brass to perform in New Salem<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Pioneer Valley Brass will perform a free public concert of music from Bach and Tchaikovsky to The Beatles and beyond, specially arranged for brass quintet, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at the Swift River Valley Historical Society on Elm Street in New Salem.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-1    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This annual program is sponsored by the First Universalist Parish of North Dana from a trust fund started in the 1920s by sisters Catherine Mason and Mary Hale.\u00a0The Swift River Valley Historical Society is remembering the birthday of Harriet Clary,\u00a0 who lived for many years in the Whitaker-Clary House, which is part of the Museum today.\u00a0Birthday cake will be served after the Brass performance, in honor of Harriet Clary\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n<aside>\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday\u2019s program is the 821st\u00a0in the series designed to preserve the memory of the Parish, which has closed for the preparation of the construction of the Quabbin Reservoir, created to provide clean drinking water to Boston. The Pioneer Valley Brass has been performing for more than 40 years with various membership. CONTRIBUTED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quabbin Days 2026 planning begins <\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Friends of Quabbin are encouraging municipalities, historical societies, museums, libraries, conservation organizations, arts groups, farms, businesses and community organizations throughout the Quabbin Region to begin planning for Quabbin Days 2026 scheduled for Oct. 9-12. The regional initiative, coordinated by the Friends, encourages residents and visitors to explore the 12 communities of the Quabbin Region through a variety of local events, programs, exhibits, tours, performances, outdoor activities and community gatherings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe know that many organizations begin planning their fall schedules months in advance,\u201d said Ed Comeau of the Friends of Quabbin. \u201cWe want to give everyone enough lead time to consider how they would like to participate and to explore opportunities to work together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation can take many forms. Organizations may create new programs specifically for Quabbin Days or designate existing activities taking place during the October holiday weekend as part of the celebration. In 2009, she joined the Veterans Affairs as a psychiatrist, establishing herself as an expert in treating post-traumatic stress disorder. She retired from clinical practice in 2025 and lives in western Massachusetts. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library and is free and open to the public.
