He was 35.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Police told PEOPLE in a statement that the influencer was discovered dead at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMichael\u2019s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time,\u201d the spokesperson added. \u201cWe would like to thank everyone who shared and supported this appeal.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"content-figure flex justify-center mb-[1em] mx-auto\">\n<div style=\"max-width:384px\">\n<div class=\"content-image\"><\/div><figcaption class=\"fig-caption\">\n<p>Michael SelwoodCredit: Michael Selwood\/Instagram<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Police had previously shared a public appeal saying Selwood had last been seen on July 18 at around 8 p.m. in Dukinfield, England.<\/p>\n<p>Selwood maintained a following of over 22,000 on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mikey202510\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TikTok<\/a>, where he shared fitness content and videos of him in a boxing ring. In his <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/selwood2026\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> bio, he wrote, \u201cHere just living my single best life drop follow come along for the ride \ud83d\udcaa\ud83d\ude95.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He seemingly last updated his social media accounts on July 14, sharing a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mikey202510\/video\/7662389992395902210\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a> lip syncing to the Gabriela Bee and Prinz song \u201cHighs &amp;
