Paul Wesley<\/strong><\/a> spilled all the details on his first kiss with Brittany Snow<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was on a soap opera with Brittany Snow. She\u2019s one of my dear friends. I adore her. She\u2019s the best,\u201d Wesley, 43, said while appearing on the Wednesday, July 22, episode of Alex Cooper<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cSo, Brittany and I played boyfriend and girlfriend on a show called The Guiding Light<\/em>. I was like, 16 years old, making a bunch of cash.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wesley and Snow, 40, appeared on the hit daytime talk show The Guiding Light<\/em> in 1998 through 2001 as Max Nickerson and Susan \u201cDaisy\u201d Lemay, respectively. Not only was Wesley Snow\u2019s first onscreen kiss \u2014 he was her first kiss, period.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were on set and I\u2019m like, 16 [or] 17, so I had kissed \u2014 I had a girlfriend \u2014 I had kissed girls before,\u201d Wesley continued on Wednesday. \u201cBrittany and I had our first kiss scene. And I was like, \u2018Cool. No big deal, whatever,\u2019 because we were playing boyfriend and girlfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPaul Wesley took an interesting approach to his chemistry read with Nina Dobrev for The Vampire Diaries \u2014 which included him ignoring his potential costar before the audition. \u201cI had a real specific approach. Nina \u2014 who was already cast as the lead \u2014 was there and everybody in that audition room during that process [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wesley said Snow, who is three years younger than him, was \u201camazing,\u201d adding that she played it cool about their onscreen smooch.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did the kiss scene<\/a> and I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, that was fine. That went well,\u2019\u201d Wesley recalled. \u201cI remember afterwards her mom comes up to me and she goes, \u2018Just so you know, that was her first kiss ever.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018What?! I didn\u2019t know that!\u2019 And to this day, Brittany\u2019s first kiss is the kiss on camera with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Vampire Diaries alum continued while smiling, \u201cIt was really sweet! Now we\u2019re really good friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper, 31, then chimed in and pointed out that it was \u201cprobably good\u201d that Wesley didn\u2019t know the scene would serve as his costar\u2019s first kiss before the cameras started rolling.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the podcast, Wesley opened up about starring on The Guiding Light<\/em> in his late teens, praising it for being \u201cthe best time\u201d of his life.<\/p>\n
