Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> is all smiles while reuniting with dog Wacha six years after rehoming the pup.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m happy to report that I\u2019m with an old, old friend,\u201d Cohen, 58, said in his Wednesday, July 22, Instagram<\/a> video, bending down to give the pup a kiss. \u201cSay hi buddy. Say hi. You changed my life, my sweet Wacha. Changed my life. Opened me up to everything and I\u2019m so lucky and I\u2019m so much better for it. It\u2019s a nice visit we are having.\u201d<\/p>\n He added in the caption, \u201cVisit with my old pal \ud83d\udc36. Wacha is doing GREAT! He lives happily with his longtime caretaker, and I\u2019m so lucky I get to visit with him! He changed my life.\u201d<\/p>\n The Watch What Happens Live<\/em> host adopted Wacha from a kill shelter in 2013. Seven years later, Cohen shared that he would be finding his dog a new home.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWhen he came into my life, my world changed,\u201d Cohen captioned a clip of him playing with Wacha. \u201cOver the nearly seven years that I\u2019ve been blessed to have Wacha in my life, we have worked to address some occasional random signs of aggression.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohen added that he tried everything to temper his four legged friend\u2019s behavior issues so that he could remain in his home, but in the end those efforts were futile and the TV personality was forced to make the difficult decision to rehome the animal following an \u201cincident.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKeeping him here could be catastrophic for Ben and worse for Wacha,\u201d he wrote, referring to his son. (Cohen welcomed his son, Ben,<\/a> via surrogate in 2019. He\u2019s also the father of daughter Lucy<\/a>, whom he welcomed also via surrogate in 2022.)<\/p>\n Cohen noted that he was placing Wacha in a home where he \u201clived every single time I went out of town.\u201d He added that Wacha was already \u201cthriving\u201d in his new-yet-familiar environment, adding that he visits his dog often.<\/p>\n
