Jennifer Garner<\/a> hasn\u2019t forgotten how scary it was when paparazzi chased her young children to get photos of her and ex-husband, Ben Affleck<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The \u201cAlias\u201d actor opened up about photographers trailing her kids during a stop by Evan Ross Katz\u2019s Netflix<\/a> series, \u201cShut Up Evan.\u201d Garner has long advocated for child protections from paparazzi, and opened up about her own kids\u2019 experience. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was totally ludicrous. And it felt like, \u2018Poor little me, my poor little kids who have everything in the world,\u2019 but it was a danger to everyone around us,\u201d she shared in the episode. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Garner shared that if she \u201cwent through a yellow light, 15 cars would go through the red behind me.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThey would drive up onto people\u2019s lawns, even on a hillside. We were trying to have our little one play soccer, and the association asked us to stop because there were 20 cars coming [to games],\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Things got even scarier when photographers shared little physical regard for the kids around them. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIf you show up and you\u2019re trying to get into the pediatrician, and you have a sick kid on your shoulder, and you\u2019re scared, and you can\u2019t get into the door because you\u2019re blocked by photographers, there\u2019s something wrong with that,\u201d she said, adding that \u201cthe kids are paying the price.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cKids were getting knocked over coming out of preschool by photographers who were so hungry to get to me or to Ben \u2015 trying to get to our kids,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2015. The two share three children together: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Affleck has opened up about his own struggles with the paparazzi over the years and said he\u2019s \u201ca little bit shy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I also don\u2019t like a lot of attention,\u201d Affleck said in an interview with Kevin Hart on \u201cHart to Heart\u201d back in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why people see me and they\u2019re like, \u2018Why\u2019s this dude always mad?\u2019 Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face, and I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, here we go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAlso, because I\u2019m with my kids, and they\u2019re taking my picture,\u201d Affleck said. \u201cI don\u2019t mind, you can take my picture at a club or a premiere, with my wife, I don\u2019t give a fuck. Knock yourself out. I don\u2019t notice you. But with my children that\u2019s a different thing.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
