Jen Hamilton<\/strong><\/a> reflected on the whirlwind of emotions that followed her best-selling book\u2019s release mere weeks before her marriage to estranged husband Brian<\/strong> publicly imploded<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hit #1 [on the New York Times<\/em>] Best Seller List and then an undercover OPP in my life hijacked this special time in my life with some bulls*** so I couldn\u2019t even market the book I had worked so hard on for the last few years,\u201d Jen, 35, shared via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, July 22, declining to name the so-called \u201cundercover\u201d individual by name.<\/p>\n

Her video \u2014 set to Cardi B<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cHello \u2013 Beat\u201d \u2014 flashed to her holding up a copy of her book, Birth Vibes<\/em>, before cutting to her twerking for the camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m back. This is me making up for all that lost time the best\/only way I know how,\u201d she declared. \u201c[Birth Vibes<\/em>] is really good. It\u2019s for pregnant people, moms, dads, sisters, nurses, doulas, doctors, midwives, or anyone who loves stories of human compassion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Birth Vibes: Stories and Strategies for an Empowered Birth<\/em> is a collection of wisdom gained from her years working as a labor and delivery nurse. The memoir hit shelves on May 5, around the same time as speculation arose that she was going through a marital crisis.<\/p>\n

On June 15, Jen released a statement she\u2019d written with her estranged husband confirming the former couple\u2019s separation. (The pair share two sons, Ellis and Luke.)<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we are separating,\u201d their initial statement read. \u201cThis comes with enormous pain for the both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love, and friendship. What we are committed to is loving each other well through this transition and placing the wellbeing of the family we created at the center.\u201d<\/p>\n

They went on, \u201cWe are hoping our paths diverging in physical location will make space and room for mental healing for the other. We still are committed to being a team. We even wrote this together (and without chatgpt). We both want to be very clear. This wasn\u2019t about falling out of love. That\u2019s why this is so devastating. It was about recognizing that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give someone space to figure out complex things. And that\u2019s exactly what we are doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jen subsequently announced on June 29 that she\u2019d temporarily stepped away from nursing<\/a> in order to process her separation.<\/p>\n

I am going to model for my children what it means to have healthy relationships, healthy self-worth and allowing those that we love the very most in this world to accept and embrace the gift that is accountability and consequence for the decisions that we make in this life.\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently, Jen posted a TikTok that started with her inhaling as she made an apparent realization<\/a> about her failed marriage.<\/p>\n

The clip then cut to her opening her eyes as more text flashed on screen, \u201cRemembers \u2026 I\u2019m a #1 NYT [New York Times<\/em>] Best Selling Author with the phattest ass \u2026 I am not worthless.\u201d<\/p>\n

The influencer has been incredibly candid with her social media followers about how she is dealing with her split from Brian. On Tuesday, she said that she initially worried she might not be able to \u201clive\u201d<\/a> through the trauma of the split.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were a few moments I didn\u2019t know if I was going to live, OK? As you find out new information, that feeling of not being able to live gets pretty strong,\u201d Jen acknowledged.<\/p>\n

However, Jen credited relying on her \u201cfive Ms\u201d \u2014 \u201cmeditation,\u201d \u201cmeds,\u201d a \u201cmentorship,\u201d \u201cmingling,\u201d and \u201cMegan Thee Stallion<\/strong>\u201d \u2014 with helping move forward in a healthier space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe stuff that is going on in your life, you did not ask for. You didn\u2019t ask for any of this stuff. But not only are you taking what has been shoved up your butt, but you\u2019re also doing life. Because you have to,\u201d she said \u201cYou may be able to distract me from my joy [but] you cannot have it.\u201d<\/p>\n
