Shania Twain<\/a> has revealed she turned down an invitation to Taylor Swift\u2019s wedding to perform with Harry Styles at his sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n The singer, 60, opened for Styles during his 12-night London<\/a> residency, which ran from June 12 to July 4, as part of his Together, Together tour.<\/p>\n Twain\u2019s commitment to the shows meant she was unable to accept her invitation to Swift\u2019s wedding to Travis Kelce<\/a> at Madison Square Garden on July 3.<\/p>\n Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: \u201cI was very honoured to be invited to Taylor\u2019s wedding and next time I see her, I will of course give her a big congratulations.<\/p>\n \u201cI admire her musicianship and her commitment to telling her stories, I love her.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to the Wembley shows, Twain had performed with Swift\u2019s ex-boyfriend Styles at Coachella in 2022 and the Brit Awards in 2023.<\/p>\n Speaking about how they met, she said: \u201cI met Harry backstage at a very small show, and we chatted for a little bit.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was still just getting going, he wasn\u2019t the Harry he is now.<\/p>\n \u201cWe exchanged numbers and he called me a little bit later and said, \u2018it\u2019s my mum\u2019s birthday coming up, would you mind wishing her a happy birthday because she\u2019s the person who introduced me to your music?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Twain happily sang happy birthday to Styles\u2019s mother over the phone and the two singers kept in touch.<\/p>\n The Canadian singer appeared on the talk show to promote her new album, Little Miss Twain, which will be released on July 24.<\/p>\n Styles previously dated Swift from 2012 to 2013.<\/p>\n Referencing their past romance during an interview on CTV\u2019s Etalk, Twain said: \u201cIt\u2019s just kind of funny that that happened that way.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift and Kelce reportedly had 1,000 guests at their wedding, with celebrities including Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Graham Norton, Ed Sheeran, Hugh Grant and Ethan Hawke all in attendance.<\/p>\n A billboard outside the venue read \u201cJUST&T MARRIED\u201d after the ceremony took place.<\/p>\n Their romance began in 2023 after Kelce publicly announced on his podcast that he was interested in\u00a0Swift, which she later said was a \u201cwild, romantic gesture\u201d.<\/p>\n In October 2025,\u00a0Swift\u00a0made her first TV appearance on Graham Norton\u2019s BBC talk show since her engagement, where she jokingly told the host she was planning on inviting \u201canyone I\u2019ve ever talked to\u201d to her\u00a0wedding.<\/p>\n Styles is currently in a relationship with Zoe Kravitz, who he was first linked with in August 2025.<\/p>\n Read More<\/p>\n How London’s nightlife evolved to meet a new generation<\/a><\/p>\n What does Andy Burnham as Prime Minister mean for the London property market?<\/a><\/p>\n
