Love you loads!!\u201dSpeaking of the trade side of the film, \u2018Jana Nayagan\u2019 according to trade analyst Sacnilk, the live numbers show it has minted over Rs 22.84 crore in India across 9,713 shows.<\/p>\n In a conversation with ETimes, film trade analyst Komal Nahta shared his reaction to the film’s box office prospects. He said that Jana Nayagan will “do hit business in Tamil,” but added that the Hindi dubbed version is unlikely to perform well. Nahta also agreed that the film serves as a fitting send-off to Vijay’s acting career, as it marks his final outing on the big screen.As things stand the film stays behind Vijay\u2019s last film, \u2018The Greatest Of All Time\u2019 or simple \u2018GOAT\u2019 which minted over Rs 44 crore on the opening day.Etimes also spoke with trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who shared that he believes that \u2018Jana Nayagan\u2019 is expected to set a new \u201cbenchmark\u201d as far as the opening of the film is concerned. When asked about the film\u2019s reception in the North India market, he shared that it’s too early to comment as the film is still on its first day in theatres. He added that a mid-week release is not the right parameter to judge a film’s success and that a clearer picture will emerge from Friday onwards.<\/p>\n \u2018Jana Nayagan\u2019 remains more than a \u201cfilm\u201d to Vijay\u2019s fans.
