A new glimpse into Justin Hartley<\/strong><\/a> and wife Sofia Pernas<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 home life showed just how in love the couple is.<\/p>\n

Pernas, 36, uploaded a new photo via Instagram Story on Monday, July 20, of her and Hartley, 49, smiling into the camera. The couple were spending some quality time at home amid their booked and busy schedules.<\/p>\n

Hartley and Pernas first worked together in 2015 on The Young and The Restless.<\/em> Years later, they reconnected away from the cameras<\/a> and exchanged vows in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople write songs about [this kind of love]. People talk about it and I think you want to believe that everyone has that in their life,\u201d Hartley shared on a May episode of Tommy DiDario\u2019s \u201cI\u2019ve Never Said This Before\u201d podcast. \u201cYou want to believe that everyone gets to a point where they meet their soulmate or whatever you want to call it. It\u2019s unfortunate that I think a lot of people don\u2019t. That\u2019s sad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hartley pointed out how he has made<\/a> it a priority to appreciate Pernas, saying, \u201cWhen you do have it, you got to just hold on to it. It\u2019s so special and fragile and in some ways rare, unfortunately. She\u2019s everything and she\u2019s fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Tracker<\/em> star also shared the lessons he learned that he took into his marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard this from my stepdad where he said to me a long time ago, \u2018You got to take care of your relationship and be very protective of who you surround yourself with and what relationships you surround yourself with,’\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause there will be people that are in your life right now that you think are your friends and they simply cannot handle your relationship. They can\u2019t handle it,\u201d Hartley continued. \u201cIt\u2019s not necessarily sad but it is just true that when you have a relationship that you really care about [and] it could be a friendship, it could be with your mom or your dad or it could be with your dog.\u201d<\/p>\n
