\u201cFor three weekends in a row before I actually met Larry, I saw him out of the corner of my eye at the same exact event,\u201d the model says of the retired defensive end, 40, who played for six NFL seasons across the then-San Diego Chargers (2009-2013) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2014).<\/p>\n
Nicole recalled her girlfriend pointing Larry out on three different occasions, referring to him as the \u201cguy in the white T-shirt\u201d while they were in the same place at the same time. She wasn\u2019t looking for a relationship at the time, which is why she wasn\u2019t quick to express excitement.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was already getting out of a really bad one, so I was like, \u2018I am not. Nicole\u2019s third interaction with Larry occurred after they were leaving a mutual friend\u2019s birthday party and walked to another spot when the event concluded. Nicole was with her same friend, who was chatting with Larry\u2019s friend and shared the football player was interested in the SI Swimsuit<\/em> model.<\/p>\n\u201cFunny enough, he was with a girl that night,\u201d Nicole recalls. \u201cHe\u2019s looking at me but he\u2019s standing there with a girl, and I\u2019m just like, \u2018No, no, no, no, no,\u2019 and I was playing so hard to get. I didn\u2019t give him my number, I didn\u2019t talk to him for the night.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then somehow, he worked around his friend talking to my best friend to get to me,\u201d she says. \u201cI made him wait for two months to take me on a date. I was a little scarred I guess from my last relationship, but I made him wait.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that\u2019s what made him want to date me so much because he can\u2019t get it, and men like what they can\u2019t have,\u201d she says. \u201cI wasn\u2019t trying to play games. I just wasn\u2019t ready, and so I think that\u2019s what made him more attractive to me. Eventually, Nicole took Larry up on that date and says they\u2019ve been \u201cinseparable\u201d ever since. The couple got engaged in 2016<\/a> and tied the knot at Montage Laguna Beach in California in May 2017.<\/p>\nIn January 2023, Nicole and Larry welcomed their first baby, daughter India Moon<\/a>. When she walked the runway at SI Swimsuit<\/em>\u2018s Miami Swim Week show in July 2022, she sweetly revealed her baby bump in a bikini alongside Larry.<\/p>\nNicole shares on WAG World<\/em> how the foundation of their marriage was built on friendship.<\/p>\n\u201cI just truly believe that we started out as literal best friends,\u201d she says of Larry. \u201cWe wanted to do everything together, we loved being around each other.
