WARWICK, RI \u2014 This weeks\u2019 Warwick Weekend events include music in Conimicut Village, a new art exhibit viewing the 250th from a Native American perspective, as well as a farmers market, food trucks, art, and bumper cars.<\/p>\n

Warwick Weekend Events Friday:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n

Music in the Village<\/a><\/strong> Come enjoy some music outdoors in the grassy area behind Woodbury Union Church in Conimicut Village, 58 Beach Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open and free to all. Ken Boisclair performs, and Cookie Chow<\/a><\/span> will be there too.<\/span><\/p>\n

WCFA \u2018250th Iootash Ompeu Revolution\u2019 Exhibit<\/a> <\/strong>\u00a0The group exhibit \u201c250th Iootash Ompeu Revolution\u201d A Native American perspective of the Revolutionary War,<\/span>\u00a0shows at the WCFA gallery, 3259 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886. The\u00a0 gallery\u00a0 is open from 11 a.m. \u2013 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.\u00a0 Admission is free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clouds Hill Tours<\/a>:<\/strong> Clouds Hill Museum offers t<\/span>ours of the museum by appointment, every other week on Friday.\u00a0 Walk through rooms that have remained in the same family for four generations, featuring perfectly preserved 19th-century furnishings, hand-carved woodwork, and textiles. After touring the main house, don\u2019t miss the Carriage Museum to see a rare mid-1800s wagon.<\/p>\n

Clouds Hill is on the National Register of Historic Places, and fans of HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Gilded Age\u201d who visit there will recognize portions of the home that have been used in the popular period drama. The home has been carefully preserved and is said to be one of the best examples of Victoriana, with original architecture, textiles, furnishings, artwork and the like carefully preserved through the decades. Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park <\/a><\/strong>Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods!<\/p>\n

For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0End your week at Food Truck Friday \u2013 an outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starting at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.<\/p>\n

The Carousel campus has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park\u2019s Food Truck Fridays event. The outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starts at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.<\/p>\n

Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA<\/strong><\/a> Bring Your Own Improv is on for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you\u2019re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they\u2019ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show \u2013 designed for teens and adults \u2013 is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you\u2019re ready, jump up and get involved.<\/p>\n

Thayer Arena Public Skate<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Through March, Friday and Sunday, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 \u2013 Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.<\/p>\n
