Our Track of the Week comes from Jem Cassar-Daley<\/strong>, who has capped off a huge week with \u201cAll I\u2019m Thinking About\u201d, arriving alongside the announcement of her long-awaited debut album, tattoos used to come off in the pool<\/em>, out 28th August. The single is a tale of obsessing over your partner\u2019s ex, complete with late-night Instagram deep dives, and it\u2019s built on a relentless, hypnotic chorus melody that mirrors that spiral perfectly. But it\u2019s Jem\u2019s vocals that seal it: floating above the driving production, as captivating and enchanting as ever.<\/p>\n With the accompanying video<\/a> out now and a national headline tour<\/a> kicking off in Perth this September, we look forward to everyone getting on board the Jem Cassar-Daley train.<\/p>\n Grace Cummings<\/strong> releases the final single from her forthcoming album Bloodhorse!<\/em> with \u201cFAKE\u201d, a haunting ballad that might be the most quietly devastating thing she\u2019s released yet. Her signature vocals glide over piano and strings, moody and captivating, before it dissolves into a hypnotic, droning conclusion. Born from the suffocating weight of being called a \u2018good girl\u2019, it\u2019s a difficult confession delivered with remarkable control. Bloodhorse! <\/em>will be released on 14th August. We can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n \u201cPre-Raphaelite\u201d is the latest single from singer-songwriter Paris Paloma <\/b>and the penultimate preview of her forthcoming album The Fatal Flaw<\/i> \u2013 out September 4th. Inspired by the poetry of Christina Rossetti, the single explores the nuances of female relationships, and the duality of tenderness and bitterness, sisterhood and isolation. There\u2019s a wonderful subtle playfulness, with staccato strings, faux harpsichord, and more to the single; all wrapped up in quite a polished pop product, with a stellar vocal performance we\u2019ve come to expect from Paloma.<\/p>\n Starting next week, Paloma will be heading back out on the road for the rest of the year, taking in headline dates across Europe and North America, plus some major festival appearances too. For more information head HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n AU favourite Odette<\/strong> makes her return this week with \u201cAAAH!\u201d, her first new release since 2024. The single, her first on new label Beloved Records, is a sharp, soulful yet empowering cry to the universe telling us all that we\u2019re all more powerful than we think. Piano-led, with Odette\u2019s vocals front and centre, is a welcome and timely reminder of Odette\u2019s songwriting skill and her emotive and cathartic lyricism.<\/p>\n Radio Free Alice<\/strong> keep their hot streak rolling with \u201cKick in the Shins\u201d, a frenzied jolt of new wave\/post-punk that fuses two half-finished songs into one you can jump around to. Noah Learmonth\u2019s quick-witted storytelling drives the track, capturing that disorienting feeling of being confused by the culture around you, while Michael Phillips\u2019 saxophone lands like a sharp uppercut throughout. They are currently tearing around festivals<\/a> in the UK and Europe.<\/p>\n ENOLA <\/b>has us thoroughly obsessed with \u201cAdore\u201d, and we\u2019ve had our pre-release copy on high-rotation.\u00a0The lead single from their EP Nothing Lasts Forever<\/em> captures that fragile early chapter of a relationship, when everything is new and full of possibility but fear and self-doubt start creeping in at the edges. The EP is also released today, so dive in and enjoy it\u2019s beauty.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe Tomorrow\u201d is the latest single from Tex Perkins<\/b> & Matt Walker<\/b>, the second from their forthcoming debut album, Before the Show<\/i>. The album, which releases August 28th, was produced last year and features a collection of tracks that were penned and recorded simultaneously, with the majority of the album tracks first takes before any outside influences can take effect. \u201cMaybe Tomorrow\u201d is quite a stripped back affair \u2013 a jangling 12-string, and some rich vocal harmonies, leading to something that\u2019s quite reflective and full of a quiet warmth. It\u2019s reminiscent of the recent album releases from Butler, Blake & Grant<\/b>. You can catch Tex Perkins & Matt Walker on the road later in the year. For dates and more, head HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n Also added to the playlist this week is \u201cBye Baby\u201d, the latest single to be released from Ok ok now<\/i>, the debut solo album from Parcels\u2019 Noah Hill <\/b>(out September 4th). The single explores the slow unravelling and deterioration of a relationship. Intimate and soulful \u2013 a breakup, has perhaps never been soundtracked so beautifully. Joining him on the playlist is Queensland alt-country artist Kyle Jenkins <\/b>with his new single \u201cCold Blood\u201d \u2013 a track that channels 90s Dylan with some gorgeous pedal steel and piano work, but more heartache for your listening pleasure.\u00a0<\/span>Finally, we\u2019ve added \u201cThis Life\u201d from James Keith<\/strong>, which we premiered earlier in the week.<\/p>\n Catch all the new music updated every Friday on Apple Music:<\/p>\n
