Tirupati:<\/b>Dr Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar of the erstwhile Mysore royal family offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials received them at the temple in accordance with tradition and arranged \u2018First Harathi\u2019 darshan. Temple priests also offered Vedic blessings after the darshan.<\/p>\n
Their visit came a day after the traditional Pallavotsavam was held in Tirumala in connection with the birth anniversary of the Maharaja of Mysore.<\/p>\n
The Pallavotsavam has been observed in Tirumala for generations, reflecting the long-standing association between the Mysore royal family and the temple.<\/p>\n
As part of the celebrations, Malayappa Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, was taken in a procession to the Karnataka Choultry. Members of the Mysore royal family and Karnataka government officials welcomed the deities and performed traditional rituals.<\/p>\n
Special pujas were performed and *naivedyam* was offered to the deities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
