Sarah Ferguson has been staying out of the public eye as she considers her options in the wake of continued scrutiny surrounding her former connections to Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n
The 66-year-old has largely avoided public appearances throughout 2026, with her last sighting being photographs taken in the Austrian mountains back in April.<\/p>\n
Despite her absence from public life, Ms Ferguson remains focused on her family. Her younger daughter Princess Eugenie, 36, is due to welcome her third child this summer.<\/p>\n
“Sarah is keeping a low profile. She’s staying in contact with her daughters and is awaiting the news of Eugenie’s baby,” a friend told People magazine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ms Ferguson is understood to still be overseas and has not travelled back to Britain while the investigation into her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, 66, continues in the months since his arrest in February.<\/p>\n
Following the decision that both she and Mr Mountbatten-Windsor would need to vacate Royal Lodge in Windsor, Ms Ferguson had been expected to find a new residence in the Windsor area. However, she has not yet settled on a permanent home.<\/p>\n
A source previously told the publication that Ms Ferguson “has never asked for a property or any provision for herself” and intends to “forge an independent life” going forward.<\/p>\n
