Giuliana Rancic<\/strong><\/a> is weighing in after ex Jerry O\u2019Connell<\/strong><\/a> raised eyebrows with a new revelation about their split \u2014 more than two decades later.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you guys heard? Apparently my ex-boyfriend has been talking about our breakup publicly after 22 years,\u201d Rancic, 51, said in an Instagram video posted Thursday, July 23. \u201cHmm. Imagine that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rancic hinted that O\u2019Connell\u2019s<\/a> \u201cmemory is just a little fuzzy\u201d when it comes to the details of their breakup. Despite being \u201con vacation,\u201d Rancic caught wind of O\u2019Connell\u2019s recent interview about them because her email was \u201cblowing up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead of giving a statement, Rancic said she will be doing \u201ca deep dive\u201d on the drama in \u201ca 40-minute podcast,\u201d teasing, \u201cJerry, you are so invited. We\u2019d love to have you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ripa, 55, read a passage from Rancic\u2019s 2015 memoir, Going Off Script, in which she claimed O\u2019Connell told her through an intercom, \u201cNope, sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you take care, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connell, for his part, couldn\u2019t \u201cdeny that [he] said that\u201d and admitted to being a \u201cterrible boyfriend\u201d to Rancic.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Another woman] was inside my condominium [when] Giuliana Rancic wanted entry into my condominium,\u201d he told Ripa. \u201cThank goodness, buzzer, gate, security. I paid a pretty hefty homeowners\u2019 fee for these things. Cameras and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connell offered his side of the story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018I did not know you were coming. You can\u2019t come here unannounced,\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cNotice no one had a key, so the relationship was not like that. There was no warning, and I didn\u2019t want someone coming in because I didn\u2019t want any confrontation.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connell did not specify who was with him when Rancic visited. He dated Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell<\/strong> after Rancic and has since found love with now-wife Rebecca Romijn<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n
