One example came from the sessions surrounding the band\u2019s classic 1981 album\u00a04<\/em>. During the album\u2019s reissue process, the group discovered an unfinished track called\u00a0\u201cFool If You Love Him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
The song featured original vocalist Gramm on vocals but was missing\u00a0additional\u00a0lyrics. The band reached out to Gramm, who agreed to return and complete the track.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Special Surprise\u00a0From\u00a0the\u00a0‘Head Games’\u00a0Era\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n
Foreigner has also uncovered unreleased material from the sessions for the band\u2019s 1979 album\u00a0Head Games<\/em>.\u00a0Pilson revealed that one unfinished track had everything in place\u2014including Gramm\u2019s vocals and background vocals\u2014but was missing a guitar solo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
The band decided to bring in legendary guitarist Peter Frampton, a close friend of Jones, to add the missing piece.\u00a0“So\u00a0we called\u00a0Peter.\u00a0Peter\u00a0said, ‘I’d love to put a guitar solo on it.’\u00a0So\u00a0he put a great solo on.\u00a0It’s\u00a0a song called\u00a0‘Trouble’. It came out fantastic. And so\u00a0that’s\u00a0another example of things that\u00a0we’re\u00a0doing, where\u00a0we’re\u00a0finding stuff from the older records.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
New Music Will Be Released Carefully\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n
While fans may be eager for a full-length new Foreigner album, Pilson explained that the modern music industry has changed the way artists release material.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about quality, certainly not quantity,\u201d Pilson explained, noting that the band wants to release the right song at the right moment.\u00a0\u201cSo\u00a0it’s\u00a0really more\u00a0about a song at a time. And\u00a0so\u00a0with regards to brand-new material, we’re\u00a0gonna\u00a0just take it very slow and make sure that we have the right song for the right moment, and that’s when we’ll put it out.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
