There\u2019s a new horse in Orville Peck<\/a>\u2019s stable. After releasing the 2020 EP Show Pony<\/em><\/a> and the 2022 album Bronco<\/em><\/a>, he\u2019s back with Mule<\/em>, which arrives on September 18 via Warner. He teased the album with the Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus, and Allison Russell-featuring \u201cPrologue (Eulogy of a Man Turned Mule)\u201d earlier this month, and now he\u2019s returned with another preview of the record: \u201cToo Little, Too Late.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peck recently told Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em> that Mule<\/em> is about one of the worst years of his life. \u201cI was a bad addict, a coping alcoholic,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I had this spiral moment, where I went back to my hotel and tried to take my life. It was a big turning point for me, with a lot of realizations to come. It was something that needed to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
