MILWAUKEE \u2014 Another musical is joining the 2026-27 season at the Marcus Perfomring Arts Center in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n

The theater announced it\u2019s bringing the \u201cUnauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical\u201d to the stage this December. It\u2019ll run from Dec. 26-30.<\/p>\n

It has everything you love about a Hallmark movie, from the hopeless romanticism to the classic holiday movie feel.<\/p>\n

The musical comes to the Badger State as part of its U.S. tour. It also follows a sold-out world premiere last December in Toronto.<\/p>\n

At the center is a character named Holly, who is \u201can overworked city executive forced to return to her quirky hometown to help her mother run the family business.\u201d When she comes home, she reunites with an old flame.<\/p>\n

The show is packed with original pop music and \u201cimmersive holiday moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marcus\u2019 latest addition, though not a Broadway show, comes amid its largest Broadway lineup for the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll welcome 11 Broadway tours for the upcoming season, ranging from \u201cThe Sound of Music\u201d to Buena Vista Social Club\u201d to \u201cWaitress.\u201d<\/p>\n
