Promotion for a film usually stops abruptly as soon as it opens. Going into its second weekend, though, there is still so much about The Odyssey<\/em> it feels like it hasn\u2019t premiered yet; not just because certain cast members continue to make appearances and do interviews, but also because the cast is so big and all of them hustled so hard the last few weeks, media outlets and other sources have been able to make so much good use out of the time they had with the talent \u2013 and\/or bank their content.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal were the two from The Odyssey<\/em> assigned to do Hot Ones.<\/em> These two go way back, their lore is well known. In the present, Tom is\u00a0 back on the press tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> with Zendaya and they\u2019re in Shanghai. Chinese social media is popping off over them right now. They had time in the schedule to go shopping, try out local cuisine, and now everybody on Weibo knows that it got so hot, Tom had to shop for a pair of shorts to change into. Actually, not shorts\u2026but capris! From a Chinese brand that has now sold out of the black pair that he bought.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n What did I say about capris earlier this week<\/a>?! They are a huge trend this summer and obviously not just for women because my husband last month bought five pairs of them at one go and they look really good on him which I almost never say because he usually has the worst taste.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Here are Tom and a banging Zendaya at the Shanghai fan event later on. Her dress is Versace from 2016.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I love how these two movies have given them a working honeymoon, it\u2019s just so endlessly sweet. During the fan event they were taught how to say \u201cI love you\u201d in Mandarin. But the caption on this tweet isn\u2019t entirely correct. She\u2019s not saying \u201cI love you\u201d to Tom. If she were saying it to Tom, it would only be three syllables: w\u01d2 \u00e0i n\u01d0 (\u6211\u7231\u4f60). As you can hear though, she says four syllables: w\u01d2 \u00e0i n\u01d0 men (\u6211\u7231\u4f60\u4eec) which means \u201cI love you all\u201d. She is, of course, his muse but whenever he shares the work that they do together, you can also feel his admiration and affection for her through the music choices.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Law was on Bevelations <\/em>recently and was asked about that controversial moment at the Louis Vuitton fashion show back in March 2023 when there was some drama over his seat. And the reason it\u2019s important for him to say it out loud with his whole chest is because there was a time, like just a decade ago really, when Black creatives were gatekept from this profession.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Back to Tom and Zendaya and their marathon run of press though \u2013 here\u2019s where my worlds collide. Because one of the interviews they and Jacob Batalon did on the Spider-Man junket was with Epik High! Tablo, Mithra, and DJ Tukutz are considered hip-hop trailblazers in Korea. They are mentors to BTS\u2019s RM and Suga. They\u2019re still releasing music and touring, of course, but like so many Korean entertainers, they\u2019re also heavily involved in variety shows. Tablo now has his own English-language podcast (Mithra and Tukutz make regular appearances) and Jacob has been a guest so now the three of them as Epik High are interviewing the three heavies of Spider-Man. It is cracking me up that they showed up in sweat pants with their tote bags like they just came from dropping their kids off.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Epik High left Korea to interview the Spider-Man cast. Meanwhile Hudson Williams is in Korea. As mentioned yesterday he\u2019s doing a skincare partnership, which all the way tracks since we already know he was using Korean skincare even before he became famous. Heated Rivalry<\/em> officially started streaming in Korea in April but the show and Hudson were super viral for months before that \u2013 and, not surprisingly, they seem pretty jacked that he\u2019s in his mother\u2019s motherland. She\u2019s with him on the trip and they had a cute moment together greeting fans.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n His kamsahamnida in tiny is sending me\u2026<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meghan Sussex shared a carousel of summer photos on Instagram yesterday, with a few shots that include Prince Harry and their two children Archie and Lilibet at Althorp, Princess Diana\u2019s family estate. That probably spiked the blood pressure of the British tabloids and the haters. The kids faces, as usual, aren\u2019t visible. Nobody wants to see those faces more than the anti-Sussex.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maria talked about Marcello Hernandez\u2019s Kevin Hart imitation earlier this week when they were promoting their new movie, 72 Hours<\/em>, on TODAY<\/em>. Roasting Kevin is pretty much the entire press tour.
