Jesse Solomon<\/strong><\/a> set the record straight after former Summer House<\/em><\/a> costar West Wilson<\/strong><\/a> hinted that they\u2019d reconciled.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, July 23, West, 31, shared more than a dozen images<\/a> of himself hanging out with friends, including the first official social media photo of himself with girlfriend Amanda Batula<\/strong>. The photo dump also includes a shot of Jesse, 33, with a big smile on his face as he sits with West on a sofa while Amanda is seemingly visible in the background.<\/p>\n

West offered no context on where or when the photo was taken \u2014 though Jesse later clarified to a fan that this was not a new picture, per Page Six\u2019s Virtual Reali-Tea<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an old photo [from] before their statement,\u201d Jesse replied on a fan\u2019s account.<\/p>\n

Jesse was referring to the joint statement<\/a> that West and Amanda, 35, released on March 31 to confirm they were dating. At the time, Amanda was just two months removed from announcing her separation from estranged husband Kyle Cooke<\/strong> whereas West previously dated Amanda\u2019s former BFF Ciara Miller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,\u201d they wrote. \u201cIt was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their statement went on, \u201cWe\u2019ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what\u2019s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,\u201d they concluded. \u201cWe also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.\u201d<\/p>\n
