Baywatch<\/em><\/a> is on a slow-motion run back to our TV screens in a new Fox reboot<\/a>, with Erika Eleniak<\/a> (Shauni McClain), Michael Bergin<\/a> (J.D. Darius), Kelly Packard<\/a> (April Giminski), and David Chokachi<\/a> (Cody Madison) set to reprise their roles from the syndicated original<\/a>. Might Pamela Anderson<\/a>\u00a0join them and play lifeguard C.J. Parker once more?<\/p>\n Don\u2019t get your hopes up. Anderson told Deadline<\/a> she hasn\u2019t been approached to appear in the update, and she has other priorities anyway.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one\u2019s reached out to me,\u201d the actor said. \u201cI don\u2019t know much about it. I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don\u2019t think they had a meeting of the minds. I\u2019m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well. It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach. I would have been there anyway. At the time, it taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure. Everything I\u2019ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cIf my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them. I think I\u2019ve just got to keep on seeing what else is out there. I get that there\u2019s a lot of really great TV out there right now, but I\u2019ve already done that. Now is my time to really play with different characters. I don\u2019t want to just fill my time until the end of the year. I have options, and some things I\u2019m thinking about, including some theater again. I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself. And so I\u2019m trying to do things I haven\u2019t done in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n Anderson, who earned a Golden Globe<\/a> nomination for her performance in 2024\u2019s The Last Showgirl<\/a><\/em>, can now be seen in the dark comedy film Rosebush Pruning<\/em>, which hit select U.S. theaters on Friday.
