Lithuanian avant-garde metal<\/strong> outfit Black Spikes<\/strong> have premiered a new music video for \u201cZelvar,\u201d<\/strong> the latest single from their upcoming album \u2018Ydos.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The track arrives alongside a visually ambitious new video and continues the band\u2019s rollout for the record, which is scheduled for release on August 28<\/strong> through Napalm Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the band, \u201cZelvar\u201d<\/strong> explores the destructive nature of greed through the story of a demonic figure who preys upon humanity\u2019s endless pursuit of wealth, power, and status.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis song tells the story of Zelvar, the demon of greed, as he steps into the human world. Within a magnificent palace, those consumed by endless ambition gather, chasing ever greater wealth, power, and status. Yet the more they gain, the deeper they fall into his trap\u2014thirsty, and forever unsatisfied.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
