Kyle Chandler stopped by the EW Comic-Con suite to promote Lanterns<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The Emmy-winner picked his superhero Mount Rushmore.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Chandler couldn’t believe that this Green Lantern wasn’t available to be selected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Kyle Chandler<\/a>‘s new series Lanterns<\/em><\/a> hasn’t even debuted yet, but he’s ready to put his Hal Jordan in consideration for the superhero Mount Rushmore.<\/p>\n The Emmy-winner stopped by EW’s Comic-Con studio on Friday to promote his upcoming entry in the DC Universe<\/a>, and he was asked to identify who he views as the four iconic superheroes.<\/p>\n He started off by selecting Robert Downey Jr.’<\/a>s Iron Man for the Mount Rushmore, before then going with a fellow Avenger, Scarlett Johansson<\/a>‘s Black Widow. He switched Johansson’s character to the No. 1 spot on the list because, “[Downey] is a good actor, but he’s not as pretty.”<\/p>\n The most curious choice came third when Chandler said, “I kind of grew up with this guy” and grabbed Lego Batman. Given that the animated character was first introduced as a product in 2006 and then given his own movie in 2017, it feels like a stretch that the 60-year-old Chandler “grew up” with him, especially with Adam West<\/a>‘s Batman staring him down as an option to be selected.<\/p>\n To round out his own Mount Rushmore, Chandler looked hard at the available options, leading him to ask a question: “Why the hell aren’t I up here?!”<\/p>\n He continued to voice his objection until he spotted his obvious pick. “Nothing against all these great… oh no, I’ll take this one,” he said, grabbing Jennifer Lawrence<\/a>‘s Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games<\/em>. “I respect this person a great deal, so does my daughter.”<\/p>\n Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with\u00a0our\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>EW Dispatch newsletter<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Now, it’s totally fair to wonder if Katniss should qualify for a superhero Mount Rushmore, and if we’re already bending the rules, then Chandler is right, he should be on there… as Friday Night Lights<\/em><\/a>‘ Coach Taylor. C’mon, it was truly heroic to pull out some of those wins at East Dillon!<\/p>\n
