The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in a home in Stockbridge, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The Atlanta news station had previously <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.11alive.com\/article\/news\/crime\/14-year-old-boy-killed-12-year-old-girl-injured-shooting-stockbridge-subdivision\/85-c941b2cc-9473-456d-94d0-c98fae26aa79\" rel=\"nofollow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">reported<\/a>, before the children were identified, that a 14-year-old boy was found dead with a gunshot wound and that a 12-year-old girl was injured and taken to the hospital for emergency medical treatment. This comes as a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.themirror.com\/sport\/american-football\/wife-former-nfl-star-pays-1954726\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">former NFL player, Jordan Devey, died by suicide earlier this week<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The family also shared with the outlet that Lyric has <!-- -->undergone three surgeries on her neck and vocal cords.
