I suppose those disruptions filled the space that current events might have otherwise occupied.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Year after year, the noise from the outside world got louder. Conversations turned political. It was no longer possible to stay informed without getting swept into an endless stream of headlines and conflicting opinions. As someone who had never engaged in politics, I suddenly found myself reading articles and opinion pieces and listening to podcasts. But instead of finding clarity, I felt confused, overwhelmed and anxious. It wasn\u2019t that I stopped caring about what was happening in the world. Quite the opposite. Every headline felt urgent. Every opinion seemed to demand my attention. Before long, I realized I had taken on the weight of a world that already felt too heavy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then, in 2017, the death of my son overshadowed everything. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I moved through my days on autopilot as grief filled every corner of my life. Even the smallest tasks felt like they required more energy than I had. The evenings were the hardest to face. The moment I turned out the lights, my mind started running marathons. Memories. Regrets. An endless chorus of \u201cwhat if.\u201d The silence only made the thoughts louder. Sleep no longer came naturally. Whatever the reason, I discovered the show calmed my mind. My grief was still there, and so were the headlines. But somewhere along the way, \u201cSeinfeld\u201d became an integral part of my nightly ritual, a familiar way to unwind when life becomes overwhelming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p>After a decade of grief and an endless stream of breaking news that never quits, a light, silly, inconsequential show became exactly what I needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p>We don\u2019t always know what will help us get through life\u2019s difficult times. Sometimes it\u2019s a meaningful conversation. Sometimes it\u2019s a moment of spiritual insight. Sometimes it\u2019s therapy. And other times it\u2019s something quite unexpected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"primary-cli cli cli-text \">\n<p>The world will always have another crisis waiting. Another headline. Another outrage. My grief will always be there.
