Beth McDermott<\/span> Mohegan Sun will mark its 30th anniversary with two October weekends of concerts and special events featuring artists spanning rock, country, pop and hip-hop.<\/p>\n The celebration centers on five performances at Mohegan Sun Arena, according to a community announcement. The lineup includes Alanis Morissette on Oct. 2, Foo Fighters on Oct. 4, John Mayer on Oct. 9, Lainey Wilson on Oct. 10 and DJ Cassidy\u2019s Pass The Mic Live! featuring Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Jadakiss and Nelly on Oct. 11.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the past three decades, Mohegan Sun has grown into one of the most successful and highest-grossing tribal gaming destinations in the country, continually evolving to deliver exceptional entertainment and guest experiences that have earned its place among the world’s leading integrated resorts,” said Jeff Hamilton, president & GM of Mohegan Sun. “Many more events and promotions will be announced this summer for this massive milestone, though to have such iconic performers like Alanis Morissette, The Foo Fighters, Lainey Wilson, John Mayer and more to help us celebrate is more than an honor.”<\/p>\n The resort said additional events and promotions tied to the anniversary will be announced later this summer.<\/p>\n Alanis Morissette opens the celebration at 8 p.m. Oct. 2. The singer-songwriter remains known for albums including \u201cJagged Little Pill\u201d and songs such as \u201cIronic,\u201d \u201cYou Oughta Know,\u201d \u201cHand In My Pocket\u201d and \u201cThank U.\u201d The Broadway adaptation of \u201cJagged Little Pill\u201d earned 15 Tony Award nominations and won two awards in 2021.<\/p>\n Foo Fighters take the arena stage at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 as the band continues its 30th year. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group is known for hits including \u201cEverlong,\u201d \u201cLearn To Fly,\u201d \u201cBest Of You\u201d and \u201cThe Pretender.\u201d The band’s catalog includes 12 albums, most recently \u201cYour Favorite Toy.\u201d<\/p>\n John Mayer’s performance is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 9. The Bridgeport native has won seven Grammy Awards, sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and recorded multiple No. 1 albums. He also performs with Dead & Company and curates the SiriusXM channel \u201cLife With John Mayer.\u201d<\/p>\n Lainey Wilson performs at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10. Her recent releases include \u201cPhone, Keys, Wallet,\u201d \u201cCan\u2019t Sit Still\u201d and \u201cYounger You.\u201d Wilson’s career achievements include multiple CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year honors, Grammy Awards, Grand Ole Opry membership and nine No. 1 songs.<\/p>\n DJ Cassidy\u2019s Pass The Mic Live! closes the anniversary celebration at 8 p.m. Oct. 11. The show will feature Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Jadakiss and Nelly performing together during a continuous live music experience. According to the announcement, the event marks the first Connecticut appearance for Pass The Mic Live!<\/p>\n Tickets for both weekends of performances are on sale through https:\/\/www.ticketmaster.com\/mohegan-sun-arena-tickets-uncasville\/venue\/237645<\/a> as well as at the Mohegan Sun Box Office.<\/p>\n The anniversary celebration arrives during a notable year for Mohegan Sun Arena, which recently was named Best Casino Concert Venue in the 2026 Newsweek Readers\u2019 Choice Awards and Casino\/Resort Venue of the Year at the 37th Annual Pollstar Awards, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n Two Metallica performances are also scheduled for November as the arena celebrates its 25th anniversary.
