Dhani Harrison<\/a>\u00a0and longtime\u00a0Radiohead<\/a>\u00a0producer\u00a0Nigel Godrich<\/a>\u00a0have formed the new band Dragonflies and shared\u00a0debut\u00a0single \u2018Slower\u2019 \u2013\u00a0check\u00a0it out below.<\/p>\n

The pair will release their self-titled debut album on September 18 via Dark Horse Records\/BMG, the label originally founded by Harrison\u2019s father,\u00a0Beatles<\/a>\u00a0legend\u00a0George Harrison<\/a>, in 1974.\u00a0Pre-order it\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018Slower\u2019 serves as the record\u2019s opening track and combines tape loops, layered percussion and Harrison\u2019s vocals with a hazy, trip-hop-influenced sound.<\/p>\n

It arrives alongside a hand-drawn, psychedelic video directed by Bristol animator RUFFMERCY, whose previous credits include work with Nirvana<\/a>,\u00a0Earl Sweatshirt<\/a>,\u00a0The Chemical Brothers<\/a>,\u00a0Nas<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Run The Jewels<\/a>.<\/p>\n
