While reporting on the latest news across the country, the hosts of Fox & Friends<\/em><\/a> took a second to announce some exciting news of their own.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a brand-new member of the Fox & Friends<\/em> family. Carley Shimkus<\/a> [gave] birth to her son, Harrison,\u201d Fox News<\/a> correspondent Ashley Strohmier announced during the show\u2019s Monday, July 27, episode<\/a>. \u201cAnd we are so happy to report both mom and baby are doing great. And baby Harrison joins his big brother, Brock.\u201d<\/p>\n Shimkus shares baby Harrison and her eldest son, Brock, with her husband, Peter Buchignani, to whom she has been married since 2015. On the show, Strohmier said she thinks Harrison looks \u201cso similar\u201d to his big brother, adding, \u201cThey\u2019re so precious. And Carley looks so great. Oh, my gosh. Congratulations to them.\u201d<\/p>\n Host Ainsley Earhardt<\/a> noted that she visited Shimkus in the hospital a few days after she gave birth and got to meet baby Harrison. \u201cShe looked amazing. Without a stitch of makeup on, looked amazing. And she\u2019s holding this baby. And there we are,\u201d she gushed.<\/p>\n Unlike Strohmier, Earhardt said she thinks Harrison favors his dad. \u201cThe baby does look like Pete, \u2019cause Brock looks more like Carley,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n Host Steve Doocy<\/a>, for his part, couldn\u2019t believe how much Shimkus\u2019s family has grown. \u201cI can\u2019t believe how big Brock is,\u201d he said before joking. \u201cMan, these kids, you feed them, they grow up!\u201d (Shimkus and Buchignani welcomed Brock in 2023.)<\/p>\n Viewers congratulated Shimkus on her baby news via social media. \u201cCongrats so love this for you and your little family,\u201d one person commented underneath a baby announcement post<\/a> on Fox News\u2019 Instagram page. Another added, \u201cHow precious! Congratulations to mom, baby & family!\u201d<\/p>\n Someone else shared, \u201cCongratulations @carleyshimkus on the new addition to your precious family!!! He\u2019s absolutely handsome!!!\u201d A different person posted, \u201cCongratulations!! What a beautiful boy!!! That went by fast!!! What a beauty. Just like his mom, dad, and \u2018bro.\u201d A separate commenter stated, \u201cCongratulations Carley and family!
