{"id":2519382,"date":"2026-07-27T18:23:45","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T18:23:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2519382"},"modified":"2026-07-27T18:23:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T18:23:45","slug":"park-street-music-fest-now-in-its-9th-year-returns-to-madisons-south-side-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/park-street-music-fest-now-in-its-9th-year-returns-to-madisons-south-side-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Park Street Music Fest, now in its 9th year, returns to Madison\u2019s South Side Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div> <template data-nitro-marker-id=\"83b926d767a9ed3e82c910cc56deb9c5-1\"\/><template data-nitro-marker-id=\"205369f1668a1eb894cf0c7f07941093-1\"\/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">One of the signature summer music events on Madison\u2019s South Side is back, as the 9th annual Next Level Park St. Music Fest returns to the Labor Temple Grounds on Saturday, Aug. 1, 3:30-8 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going to have some great music,\u201d <span style=\"font-weight:400\">Park Street Music Fest organizer Clyde Gaines tells Madison365. \u201c<\/span>But it\u2019s also just a great chance to see different people, enjoy the community, and enjoy what South Madison has to offer while catching up with family and loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The Park Street Music Fest will feature some great musical acts, including DJ Van Go at 3:30 p.m., Goddess Nacole at 4:15 p.m., SpellRed at 4:50 p.m., V Funk at 5:35 p.m. and will close out with<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400\"> C Dawson &amp; Soul Company featuring Cleo Dailey at 7 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">\u201cThis is our ninth year, and we want to provide an opportunity for family and friends to get together in a relaxed atmosphere, where they can just chill, enjoy one another, enjoy great music, enjoy the food trucks, and take advantage of the vendors that are going to be there,\u201d Gaines says.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"436\" style=\"max-width:800px;width:100%\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope;\" nitro-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/gem.godaddy.com\/signups\/fccecf5fdece49cfa1c2a6ed549bcd34\/iframe\" class=\"nitro-lazy\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Gaines and his organization, PEBOGA, started Park Street Music Fest to fill a music void in Madison and to create an event for the South Madison community (and beyond) to come together. Park Street Music Fest actually started 10 years ago, but missed one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/madison365.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/2-1.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe started Park Street Music Fest as just a way to give people in South Madison an opportunity to experience great music in their backyard, and then they could just enjoy the opportunities that South Madison has to offer, while also enjoying a great music event,\u201d Gaines says.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Music Fest has become much more than just music. I was almost part of this myself having a cardiac arrest, and so we think it\u2019s important to, on top of the great music, to focus on our health,\u201d Gaines says. Two years ago, Gaines suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed at his home and was hospitalized, where he was able to pull through despite a dire outlook. \u201cWe need to know what our blood pressure is and the importance of exercise, and know what you\u2019re supposed to do to be healthy consistently.
