according to his full autopsy report.<\/p>\n<p>The actor, who passed away in February at 33, was found unresponsive in his sober living home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/07\/27\/blake-garrett-autopsy-report-drug-scene\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet noted Monday that Garrett was found next to his bed near rolled dollar bills, a lighter and foil with burnt residue.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Blake Garrett was child star\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/13\/celebrity-news\/how-to-eat-fried-worms-child-star-blake-garretts-cause-of-death-revealed\/\">cause of death<\/a> was an accidental fentanyl overdose.<\/p>\n<p>The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner\u2019s report noted at the time that alcohol testing had come back negative.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to swelling in Garrett\u2019s brain, the report noted his lesions in various stages of healing from his shingles.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter characterized by painful blisters, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/shingles\/about\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per the CDC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She said her son had been in \u201cintense pain\u201d and speculated he may have been self-medicating.<\/p>\n<p>Garrett was, notably, three years sober at this point.<\/p>\n<figure
