While so far, the Duchess of Sussex<\/a> has been digging her heels in, Harry will not be swayed from his new plan.<\/p>\n

Indeed, as their eight-year marriage continues to crumble, we hear a frustrated Harry, 41, has told his wife, 44, that he refuses to fake a happy relationship and that the only way forward is a full royal reconciliation, which will mean playing by his dad\u2019s rules \u2013 whether Meghan likes it or not.<\/p>\n

Our source says Charles<\/a>, 77, has made it clear he wants to \u201csee progress now\u201d when it comes to the Sussexes sticking to palace protocol, \u201cotherwise the door would be shut in the future\u201d.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rumoured the Sussexes and their kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have been invited to join the King at his Balmoral residence before the end of the Scottish summer.<\/p>\n

This could be where Harry and Meghan are finally reunited with the Prince and Princess of Wales \u2013 the first time they\u2019ll come face to face since the late Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s funeral in September 2022.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s convinced it would be leveraged in some way by Meghan, plus it would totally undermine his position. The last thing he needs is Kate making it seem as though all is forgiven when it isn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
