The outlet shared a photo of the blue shade structures on social media:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FWDWNewsToday%2Fposts%2Fpfbid07eSstfj1H3RfJh8aCdxc2wumysWWQ9vPXS6tMKUjwMFe7rvuHzSC4nK82Zks5xVdl&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The dozen umbrellas are permanently installed in many of the wooden benches in the Discovery River amphitheater, closest to the Theater in the Wild, home to Finding Nemo: The Big Blue\u2026 and Beyond!. As of right now, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2026\/07\/halloween-and-christmas-expected-to-be-miserable-at-walt-disney-world-ab1\/\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">Walt Disney World Resort<\/a> hasn\u2019t installed similar umbrellas in the section of the waterfront arena closer to the Expedition Everest roller coaster.<\/p>\n<p>These permanent umbrellas\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">suggest that\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2026\/07\/orlando-disney-park-to-close-september-9-2026-ad1\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Walt Disney World Resort<\/a> doesn\u2019t plan to use<\/span>\u00a0this sprawling outdoor arena for live entertainment anytime soon, as they would block the view of any show on the water. Since KiteTails ended in 2022, Walt Disney World Resort has not used the Discovery River amphitheater for a show. In 2019, Disney reimagined the show as Rivers of Light: We Are One, but that version was retired during the COVID-19 pandemic.
