{"id":2520369,"date":"2026-07-28T12:44:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T12:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2520369"},"modified":"2026-07-28T12:44:35","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T12:44:35","slug":"newport-beach-fest-to-bring-nfl-legends-beach-football-and-live-entertainment-to-fort-adams-over-labor-day-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/newport-beach-fest-to-bring-nfl-legends-beach-football-and-live-entertainment-to-fort-adams-over-labor-day-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Newport Beach Fest to bring NFL legends, beach football, and live entertainment to Fort Adams over Labor Day weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fort Adams State Park will host an inaugural two-day waterfront festival over Labor Day weekend, bringing professional beach football, NFL legends, live entertainment, and more than 1,000 tons of sand to one of New England\u2019s most iconic event venues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Newport Beach Fest is scheduled for September 5-6 and will serve as the debut of the Beach Football League\u2019s two newest New England franchises \u2014 the Boston Generals and the Newport Admirals \u2014 as they take the field in front of fans for the first time.<\/p>\n<aside>\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The festival is the brainchild of Tully Banta-Cain, a two-time Super Bowl champion and founder and commissioner of the Beach Football League. \u201cNewport Beach Fest is about creating a destination where sports, music, food, and community come together in one incredible waterfront setting,\u201d Banta-Cain said. \u201cBy transforming Fort Adams with more than 1,000 tons of sand, we\u2019re creating a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates Newport while introducing an entirely new way to experience professional football.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to BFL competition, the weekend will feature NFL legends appearances and fan experiences, open player tryouts, one-on-one competitions, a free youth football camp, live entertainment, local food vendors, waterfront beer gardens, VIP hospitality overlooking Newport Harbor, and military activations including an obstacle course and rock-climbing wall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Newport Beach Fest is supported by Discover Newport and Newport Craft Brewing &amp; Distilling Co., among other sponsors.
