British singer-songwriter\u00a0Amanda<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has enjoyed a remarkable musical journey that began in the picturesque countryside of Cumbria, England, and has taken her to some of the world\u2019s most prestigious stages and recording studios.<\/p>\n From becoming the first contestant selected for the children\u2019s edition of the iconic UK television show\u00a0Stars in Their Eyes<\/em>to touring sold-out arenas with\u00a0Boyzone<\/strong>, performing alongside artists including\u00a0Elton John<\/strong>,\u00a0Westlife<\/strong>,\u00a0Sugababes<\/strong>, and\u00a0McFly<\/strong>, Amanda has built an impressive career defined by authenticity, perseverance, and exceptional songwriting. Growing up in the countryside of Cumbria, I spent hours listening to my parents\u2019 record collection and dreaming that one day I\u2019d be the voice coming through those speakers.<\/p>\n I first performed on stage when I was just four years old during a local village concert, and I completely fell in love with it. My sister and I would recreate\u00a0Top of the Pops<\/em>\u00a0at home using a hairbrush as a microphone and my parents\u2019 video camera.<\/p>\n Things really changed in 2002 when I auditioned for\u00a0Stars in Their Eyes<\/em>. I became the very first contestant selected for the children\u2019s version of the show, and during a live broadcast Matthew Kelly revealed that my audition had actually inspired the creation of the kids\u2019 series. That experience opened so many doors and confirmed that music was exactly where I belonged.<\/p>\n Those opportunities were incredibly special.<\/p>\n After\u00a0Stars in Their Eyes<\/em>, I was fortunate enough to perform at festivals and events throughout the UK with artists including Westlife, Boyzone, Sugababes, McFly, The Hoosiers, and Elton John.<\/p>\n One of the biggest highlights came when Boyzone invited me to join their sold-out reunion tour across the UK and Ireland while I was recording my debut solo project. Performing night after night at venues like Wembley Arena, The O2, and Manchester\u2019s MEN Arena in front of audiences of more than 15,000 people taught me so much about professionalism, consistency, and connecting with an audience.<\/p>\n Those experiences continue to influence how I approach every performance today.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve always loved the fashion world.<\/p>\n I can spend hours flipping through the pages of\u00a0Vogue<\/em>. You can call me old-fashioned, but I still believe there\u2019s something incredibly special about holding a physical magazine or book in your hands. Fashion and music have always inspired one another, and I think visual storytelling naturally influences the way I approach my own artistry.<\/p>\n Like most of my songs, it started with a conversation.<\/p>\n I wrote \u201cRush\u201d about a year ago after chatting with a friend, and the idea naturally evolved from there. I love allowing songs to develop organically rather than forcing a concept.<\/p>\n Working with Antonio Dixon on the production was an amazing experience. He really helped bring the record to life with lush strings, uplifting energy, and a modern disco influence while allowing the emotion of the song to remain at its core.<\/p>\n Songwriting has become one of my favourite parts of what I do.<\/p>\n Alongside my own releases, I\u2019ve had the opportunity to co-write award-winning songs for international artists and contribute music to advertising campaigns featuring global brands and high-profile athletes.<\/p>\n Every writing session teaches you something new. Collaborating with talented producers and writers pushes you creatively and reminds you that great songs often come from honest conversations and shared experiences.<\/p>\n I\u2019m definitely a perfectionist.<\/p>\n Any producer or vocal producer I\u2019ve worked with will tell you that I\u2019m more than happy to sing the same line 15 times if that\u2019s what it takes to get it exactly right. I genuinely love the recording process and building records layer by layer, so I never really get tired of it.<\/p>\n That attention to detail can sometimes be challenging, but it\u2019s also one of my greatest strengths because I care deeply about creating music I\u2019m proud of.<\/p>\n Absolutely not.<\/p>\n I think one of the best things about being an artist is knowing there\u2019s always more to learn. Music constantly evolves, and every project gives you the opportunity to grow. That mindset keeps me inspired and motivated to keep improving.<\/p>\n I\u2019m continuing to create.<\/p>\n I\u2019m currently writing music for some exciting advertising campaigns while also working on my next EP.
