Elsa Pataky<\/a> shared one of her recent favorite memories with her daughter.<\/p>\nOn Monday, July 27, the model and actress, 50, shared a 20-photo carousel on Instagram<\/a>, recapping a recent trip she took to Kenya. In the photos, Pataky and her actor husband Chris Hemsworth<\/a>\u2019s daughter India, 14, posed with her mom and the group of women who went on the trip.<\/p>\n\u201cMemories from one of my favourite places in the world… Kenya. \ud83c\uddf0\ud83c\uddea\u201d she captioned her post. \u201cRiding horses across the Maasai Mara, seeing elephants so close, laughing around the campfire with my girls and waking up to the sounds of Africa… every moment was so special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since tying the knot in 2010, the couple has welcomed three children together<\/a>: daughter India and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 12. The Thor <\/em>star has a special way to keep his daughter close to him at all times.<\/p>\nDuring his appearance on the SmartLess<\/em><\/a>podcast, where he shared the backstory behind some of the ink on his body, Hemsworth shared that he often grows \u201csick\u201d of his tattoos, revealing that he almost had one removed but his daughter India stopped him.<\/p>\n\u201cMy Dr. Seuss tattoo … I used to read that book to her a lot, and my mom read it to me \u2014 Oh, the Places You\u2019ll Go \u2014 <\/em>and she just would draw that little character and loved it,\u201d he shared. \u201cAnd so I got that tattoo.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cA few years later, I was like, I\u2019m kinda sick of it. So I started getting it taken off, I did like one laser session, and then she came home one day, and she goes, \u2018It\u2019s rubbing off. What happened to it? It\u2019s rubbing off,\u2019 \u201c Hemsworth recalled, saying that he thought she had also outgrown the tattoo and was \u201csick\u201d of it. \u201cShe goes, \u2018No. I love it.\u2019 So, it\u2019s now kind of half faded, you know, but it\u2019s still there.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Crime 101<\/em> star also revealed that he has more tattoos inspired by his daughter on his arm. He pointed out other little drawings from her that are now permanently etched on his skin.<\/p>\n\u201cI was sitting with a tattoo artist one night, and it was, like, 10:00, and he\u2019s designing all these different things and all this sort of sacred geometry and trippy-looking stuff. And my daughter walked out and goes, \u2018Dad, I can\u2019t sleep. You\u2019re making too much noise.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Sorry. They don\u2019t care at all,\u201d Hemsworth quipped of his children, when asked if he\u2019s scoring \u201ccool points\u201d for being a global movie star.<\/p>\n
The actor revealed his children were wowed by his films when they were younger, but have since changed their perspective.<\/p>\n
\u201cI reckon when they first realized I was\u00a0Thor<\/em><\/a>, they thought it was really cool,\u201d Hemsworth told PEOPLE. \u201cAnd then they realized they couldn\u2019t fly and they thought it was less cool.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cNow they\u2019re just like, \u2018ah, Dad, whatever,\u2019 \u201d he said, adding, \u201cTeenagers.\u201d<\/p>\n
